Hadassah Greensky is an Anishinaabe/Ojibwe vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist that uses collaboration, community and performance to reveal hidden female and Native American legacies in jazz to propel jazz music into the future. She attended The New School for Jazz and Oakland University for Jazz voice, studying under top professors in the country and immersing herself in jazz language and culture. Her style is rooted in Motown, soul and jazz. A very versatile musician, her music can range from swing-era hits to modern and progressive jazz and hip-hop. She currently resides in Detroit, Michigan.
