Formed in 2015 at the Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio, Frisson is a collective of musicians from across the United States, Caribbean, and Europe. With influences ranging from jazz and samba to funk and electronic music, the band’s live performances feature exhilarating improvisation, hypnotic grooves, and a high level of audience engagement. Frisson released its debut EP in 2017 and has since toured the material across the United States West Coast, Midwest and Western Canada. In 2019 they will release their second studio album and tour extensively both domestically and internationally.
